Things are getting busier at my practice....have another client scheduled for an appointment in about a week (she called today), have another one coming in for an appointment tomorrow morning, and meeting a business owner for more bankruptcy talks this weekend. Combine that with another LJ user's accident case, the A22 police terrorism case, and more activity in the half-time job supervised by
kiplet, and I'm pretty busy....
Possibility of a Cubs-Red Sox World Series - Cubs won and are now in first in the NL Central.
They arrested another Guantanamo Bay troop for alleged "espionage" and "aiding the enemy". Again, I think it's much more likely that these two troops were engaged in leaking out the inhumane conditions at Concentration Camp X-Ray than were funneling information to al-Qaeda or its operatives; the so-called "War on Terrorism" is a quagmire that the rest of the world is letting Shrub sink into - what's better to distract the American public than some Two Minutes Hate directed at American Muslim troops charged with (gasp) treason????
No word on the military going after a certain pilot who deserted his Air National Guard unit in 1972, however.
