I'm getting old.
May. 5th, 2007 12:17 pmHow can I tell? Well, I hurt my knee last weekend and went to a doctor today, who examined it and x-rayed it. I'm on Robax and ibuprofen, and I will probably get an MRI next week to see if there's any ligament or cartilage damage.
When you're young, you injure yourself in active sports like football, hockey, or skiing.
As you get older, you injure yourself in less-active sports like softball or bowling.
As you get still older, you injure yourself in freak accidents in daily life, like missing a step getting off a bus - which is what happened to me.
I still haven't gotten to the point where something spontaneously lets go yet, though.
