....the rest are doomed to circle its fucked-up, poorly marked highway system forever.
After dropping Brendan and spot off in Princeton and pumping $$$ into the local economy, we headed to Amy's parents' house in Deal. Amy's mom picked up some good Chinese food for us, and we had a pretty leisurely dinner. Amy's dad didn't sound well, though; he was hacking well into the night.....and was admitted to the hospital Monday morning.
Fortunately, he just needed rest and antibiotics, and was feeling much better the next day. (He "entertained" us with a Grampa Simpson-esque kvetch about how the hospital food was total crap, and how it was so much better 12 years ago, and how he got half-and-half with his coffee by pointing out how the food service gave fellow cardiac patients chicken with skin, which has much more fat than half-and-half.)
Amy's mom made us burgers and corn for dinner, then we went back to the hospital for a bit, then to the Ink Well for coffee.
Tuesday, Amy, her sister Jen and I went to the hospital, then to Red Bank to hang out. Amy continued to indulge her vinyl (and CD fetish) at a used record store, while I hung out in Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash. Comics, plus lotsa interesting props and costumes from Kevin Smith's movies, including Jay and Silent Bob's costumes from Mallrats. Smooch to the nootch!
After getting back from Red Bank, we stopped by Amy's parents' store, hung out for a while, then went to Metuchen to meet up with some of Amy's online friends from another board....eventually. $^#&*#@*# Jersey highways with the confusing signs and signs for highways 5 miles from the entrance/exit!
Lazy day today.....we had a late night last night and will just bum around....
