Feb. 26th, 2003 10:23 amJust participated in the "Virtual Sit-in" (anti-war constituents call their Senators at an assigned time - I had 10:16 for Wyden and 10:21 for Smith).
I wasn't able to get a connection to Wyden's DC office, but left my anti-war message with the local office here in Portland. I managed to get through to Smith's DC office on the third try, and recorded my message with the staff....moveon.org has almost 250,000 calls, with several hours left to go.
