Feb. 25th, 2003 04:15 pmLast night, Amy and I went to a pizza place in Portland that hosted a presentation of activism, including protests in Portland on February 15 where non-violent civil disobedience was met with terrorism (including submission holds and pepper-spraying) on the part of the police.
That's right, just do more acts in front of the cameras that'll get you sued. You do know that we filed a lawsuit against you, do you, Vera?
On the brighter side, we found a friend of ours (another Sarah) who we had lost track of for months. Turns out she's still in Portland and way busy, but we'll meet up with her Friday night.
I've gotten back into working out, this time at the small gym in the county office building. They have enough machines for me to do a workout, plus various cardios (I tried the elliptical last Friday and I liked it...). Not a real serious gym, but good to start out, and free for county employees and their families.
