If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with a spatula very sharp object, either way.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

I remember driving along Lindell Blvd when you came to St. Louis, with my windows all frosted up and playing the Smashing Pumpkins at full volume. Also trying to drive my poor little Volvo up an icy hill on campus. :D

I remember you coming up the steps when I went on a business trip to St. Louis in the winter of 1995 - you were very happy to see me. We went to Fitz's for dinner and to the Blues game. (Pushing your Volvo up the hill was a bit later, when TC and I came to St. Louis for New Year's.)

Heh....Sagittarius on N Killingsworth might just be the new Chez What?

Darklady's parties seem to be a good source for new clients, if they know I'm a lawyer. Even if I don't get new clients, I can raise money by offering myself up for spanking at $1 a whack...:)

You saw VFP getting harrassed by police on Broadway and pulled over to help out. What a guy!

Since I work in the evil corporate law firm, knowing you reminds me that not all lawyers are bad. :)

Heh....and the NLG people are trying to get people out to the Tuesday vigils every time they happened.

And not all of us are bad....see [livejournal.com profile] miroje's comment above. I believe my duty as a lawyer is to help people solve their problems at a reasonable fee. I get great satisfaction out of my work, and the money is somewhat secondary - I don't have to live the high life of one of the big-firm lawyers you work for.

When I took you to Orange, your immediate reaction was "My cats would hate it here!"

Yep....cats are supposed to hate citrus...except for Chuck Jones' cat, who ate grapefruit.

Nice place...I'd really like to get back to Chicago one of these days - unfortunately, the last U of C alumni event in Chicago was during September, when I was too busy to take time off.

I remember when I picked you up in San Francisco after you had been visiting a friend, and it was raining torrentially. My windshield wipers couldn't clear away the rain fast enough. We eventually stopped down in Sunnyvale to get something to eat.

I remember coming down for an Animania and staying at your condo - we went out to eat at an Asian restaurant in Mountain View, and that's when I got over my fear of eating with chopsticks in public.
