Seriously.....would your knowledge be useful in this situation? Has there been a call for engineers to get the levees patched and pump the water out of New Orleans?

I'm assuming they are - my old consulting firm had a contract with FEMA to provide support as needed, although it tended to be more of the clerical vein. As for me, I don't know levees at all - they'd need open flow civil engineers for that one. :)
