Saturday, Good. Sunday, Bad.

varropdxSaturday was an extremely productive day for us - I demolished the weird mutant walnut/blackberry bush that was threatening to take over most of the back yard, did the laundry for the past 10-14 days (6 loads), and helped Amy with her quest for landscaping rocks.
On top of that, we made one of the better dinners in a long time - fajitas with homemade salsa. I just *nailed* the grilled chicken - even though grilling isn't an exact science, I got the chicken breasts to the perfect degree of doneness. Woo Hoo!
Sunday started out well, with us meeting Brendan, Jill and Kieran for pizza at Old Town Pizza - it was a benefit for the Feral Cat Coalition - then went to Milwaukie to pick up still more rocks and ogled the houses down by the river.
Then the sinus headache hit - I was poleaxed for most of the afternoon and evening. Bleccch.
Although I did discover Pandora.com and various channels - the Dismemberment Plan channel had a lot of the indie rock I like, and I think![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
icecat would like the Luscious Jackson channel - a lot of the related groups are rocking bands with female singers (and often members) that I know she likes.
