Food Pr0n and Food Adventure

Pictures from earlier in the week and today...

Tuesday night: lamb kebabs, rice, sauteed beet greens and kale, and beet salad:

Tonight - food adventure - salad with blue cheese (Oregonzola), salami, and a big red beefsteak tomato, the fugu of American cooking.

I love that this is the very next post after yours on my friends page.

Everyone *loves* that post, especially because my high school reunion board (Bethel Park '88) had a candy thread a few months back!

Mmm the food in the first pic looks delish!!!

I'm not one for gorgonzola, even if it's cleverly titled as oregonzola, haha.

I've become quite good with the barbecue (thanks Kane!) Amy and I had grilled pork chops and corn tonight.

Tomato? Brave man eating a tomato in these troubled times!

The local news did a story at the tomato stand where I got that tomato right before I bought it...

There haven't been any Oregon tomatoes linked to the salmonella outbreak, so I'm sure that's safe...

That tomato/cheese/sausage meal is just playing RUSSIAN ROULETTE, dude! Next you'll be looking for fresh pressed apple cider or raw milk. Crazy.

Mmmmm....I hope the farmers' market has those things, too!

They have cider...Raw milk, sadly, is absolutely forbidden. Which means I just haven't yet found a collective what buys it.
