Jones Soda Co. - Humorless Dickbags
Oct. 17th, 2008 01:10 pmJones Soda Company is infamous for their "Thanksgiving Soda", which purports to give you everything you could want in a holiday meal - in soda form!
Turkey, stuffing, green beans, and cranberry sauce are delicious on their own, but not so much when turned into a mulchy soft drink. These are obviously novelty items.
So, Something Awful decided to mock the novelty soda with some flavors of its own.
Jones Soda's response? They threaten to sue.
Headdesk. I apologize for this humorless excuse for a lawyer who wrote the cease-and-desist letter.
Update: I called someone at Jones Soda, and the woman said that "someone overreacted - there was one of the parodies that people felt was really offensive," and that the CEO was going to try to talk to Rich "Lowtax" Kyanka of Something Awful about this.
