No AC = TEH SUCK.
Jul. 25th, 2006 04:21 pmI still don't know why anyone calls anything that's sexy "hot". Heat kills the libido and all other idcentric impulses. It makes you do nothing more than want to sit in front of a fan and floop.
Nevertheless, we tried to cope with the heat this weekend. We saw, and enjoyed, Over the Hedge and Clerks II. Amy knew I'd be amused by Shatner's performance in OtH, and I knew that Amy would go "Shut up, that's not funny" while laughing at Clerks II.
I also pointed out that the characters in Clerks II were "her people" - an establishing shot of the Wendy's was taken very close to her sister's former house near Holmdel. (It's the Middletown Wendy's, in zip code 07748. We ate there once a year and a half ago - it's near the sign for "Kings Highway" at Route 35 they show in the establishing shot.)
