Yeah, I had to work today....
Nov. 28th, 2003 05:13 pm....but it's advancing the theme of Buy Nothing Day. I had a lady in to finalize her bankruptcy petition, and moved two other petitions along by collecting money and helping the clients fill out their forms.
What better day to inquire about bankruptcy than Buy Nothing Day?
Got back late from the potluck we went to last night - I didn't feel too much like drinking, and was tired most of the night. Films were interesting, including a series of animations against Bush War I (including a great one by Scott Campbell, aka Extremo the Clown, aka the guy who paints all the store windows in Portland).
Also a good MSTable short for Chevy Trucks circa late-40s about three truck drivers trying to convince the mama's boy son of a diner owner that being a truck driver is a good, safe job.
