Football and Work...

varropdxAfter Amy and I had a nice little breakfast (cheese omelets and toast), I spent the first few hours of today watching the first Sunday NFL games with Brendan. Football....eases the pain....
....of having to work over the weekend...bleah! I realized I had to turn in a brief today (Monday) on Thursday afternoon - I spent a few hours in the law library futilely trying to find a legal theory my client could have a good case with. Unfortunately, it's becoming damage control now, to try to minimize the amount of liability he'll have. I'm kind of ashamed at my work, since there's little chance I can win this case. I'm trying to convince the client to settle, but he doesn't have enough money to credibly settle the case. Oy.
