Less than two hours to Bush's visit to Portland. I'll be there with a former cop observing the cops and making sure they obey the law and respect the protesters' Constitutional rights.
I'll give the city credit, though - they blocked off Willamette Blvd. for protesters on the entire north side of the U of Portland campus (where Shrub will be collecting campaign contributions). I am concerned about police arresting people for jaywalking on the way to the protest.
Update, 8:47 PM: No problems on the way to the protest, but there was some police terrorism on the way back....see my next post.
