Exhausted.
Aug. 3rd, 2006 08:00 pmI had one of the hardest workouts in my life last night (tougher than any I had in HS football or college track training) - 10 sets of 10 on the deadlift, plus various crunches and other ab exercises. (Particularly wicked were the reverse crunches - lying down on a bench and lifting and lowering my legs, with either bench press or various dumbbell preses between the sets.)
I managed to finish the sets, but my body just shut down during shoulder presses afterwards. I am *so* freakin' sore in my back, thighs, and abs, and am still tired. But it's a good kind of tired, I think.
