Someone left the cake out in the rain...
Jun. 2nd, 2006 04:13 pm...or didn't hold onto it tightly enough in the back seat. This means you,
ms_xeno. :P
ms_xeno decided to surprise me with a birthday cake, which she picked up at this Mexican bakery near our place. It was fantastic....good cake, with icing that wasn't sickly-sweet. Amy and I had pieces of it with
kiplet and
jemale, gave them a couple more for later, then took the rest (about half) back with us.
Halfway back to our place, I had to stop suddenly, and the cake went flying onto the floor of the back seat. Fortunately, it landed on plastic clutter (a lunch bag and a plastic binder) on the floor of the car, so the cake itself was salvageable, if not asthetically pleasing anymore.
