I haven't posted in a while....
I ended up sick most of last week. I started getting a headache and feeling nauseous about 9 pm on the 29th, then spent the rest of the night in the bathroom. This continued much of Monday morning; even shifting position in bed made me feel like another trip to the bathroom was in order.
I mostly stayed in bed Monday and Tuesday (which meant New Year's Eve was spent watching the family across the street set off fireworks), and had to cancel the trip I planned to the coast with Amy for Wednesday through Friday. By Wednesday, I was able to eat soup, and by Friday I was well, although still pretty weak.
I was all right by the weekend, and was able to enjoy the Steelers' amazing comeback in their playoff game against Cleveland. Man, was I stoked by that.
We spent last night at Chez What? with our friends Jen (Bean) and Barry (great, another cartoonist). Beer and assorted cocktails were consumed, and I tried to convince Barry that colleges should admit students as individuals.
This week is a normal (and kind of slow) week at work....money will be coming in from a couple of clients who paid up and a personal injury settlement. Wooo!
