On Tuesday, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of Pennsylvania ruled that the Dover School District could not teach "intelligent design" (Creationism-lite) in their biology classes.
This is a travesty! Of course, humans were designed by a creator - and my body was designed as well as the walkways of the Kansas City Hyatt. Therefore, I want a refund or exchange on my body.
Design defect 1: Sinuses. They always clog when the atmospheric pressure goes down, causing severe headaches.
Design defect 2: Knees. They dislocate easily, especially during contact sports, and swell up during routine exercise unless retrofitted with a brace. Nice going, intelligent designer!
Design defect 3: Tendency to accrete excess mass. I am about 40 pounds heavier than I would like to be, and I blame the intelligent designer!
If there is an intelligent designer, I request a refund or a replacement body due to these design defects. I would prefer the 1975 Barber model, which is not a unique issue. (Apologies to Ronde Barber for putting him in the shadow of his twin brother Tiki, again.)
