....tonight - Amy pitched in for some good, good beer at Bailey's Taproom, including a bomber of Goose Island Bourbon County Stout.

OMFG. This wasn't just any beer. It was an exceptionally thick, strong, and powerful stout that went down silky smooth, with some chocolate and spice notes - a warm blanket for your mouth and throat during a never-ending miserable Portland spring. And it was 13% alcohol. Nom nom nom.

I took Amy to her co-op shift, then went to the Damnportlanders meetup, and had a good time, and may have been drafted onto their trivia team for next Tuesday.

Looking forward to it - my mind has been very sharp lately - I've been as focused over the past couple weeks as I've ever been. I'm ready to kill the fear that paralyzed me for over 25 years and make my second 40 years exponentially better than my first 40.

...they do mix.

Amy and I went out for Hawaiian food at Ohana tonight, then over to the KBOO studios to record dada poetry for their show Monday night.

I feel at home in front of a radio mike, and think I have a good dramatic voice - I was able to read all three of the poems in one take.
